Cadetship and Transition to Professional Practice Programs

CATSINaM created this national resource to focus on what supports success in Cadetship and Transition to Professional Practice (TPP) Programs that are specifically for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander participants. Success means it is a culturally safe experience for participants, they complete the program and stay in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workforce.

The resource is inclusive of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students involved in a range of health professional training and builds on existing good practice. The hope is it will encourage greater uptake of dedicated programs on a national basis encourage the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sector to be involved in their own or collaborative cadetship and/or graduate programs.
