Elders Council

In July 2020, the CATSINaM Elders Advisory Council was established by the Board. The Elders Advisory Council is an advisory group to the Board and the CATSINaM CEO.

The role of the CATSINaM Elders Advisory Council is to assist and advise the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities to members of CATSINaM on matters relating to cultural governance, cultural leadership and membership matters. The CATSINaM Elders Advisory Council consists of several elders who have been selected by the Board. The CATSINaM Elders Advisory Council is not a policy making body but assists the Board and the CATSINaM CEO in implementing Board policy.
